    Aftermarket wheels

I would like to put an alternative tire on my machine, which unfortunately is driven 50% on pavement, 35% on gravel, and 15% off road - and it also spends a lot of time in the water (although I have a trolling motor for that).

Anyway, I was hoping to come up with a set of 9" wheels so that I can fit a 25" ATV tire instead of the stock 24s that are on there, but in my searches I have found nothing at all, in any size, that has a 5 lug pattern except the Argo wheels.

Short version, does anyone have a lead on where I could find aftermarket wheels?

I don't have any leads, but would like to follow this. I have also been looking for some 5 lugs for my attex but haven't had luck. besides, i need to figure out the lug configuration on my attex. I am pretty sure these did not come with a 5 lug axle back in 1972.

Have you considered an adapter plate? It might move the wheels out a bit, but i would think you should be able to adapt a 5 lug to a 4 lug. Doing a quick search, it appears that adapters are available. I just don't know the lug configuration of the wheel that you are looking at.

I think I might have an answer for you guys. If you find an early model (1990's) John Deere 4x2 or 6x4 Gator, they came with 9" wheels with the same 5 by 4.5" bolt pattern that our 6 wheel AATVs have. They'll work perfectly.

Really? Nice. I now have to find some parts vehicles. Appreciate the response. My other route would be find wheels, then find spacers. although that can get very pricey as adapters are at least $50 a pop from what i saw.

It looks like the JD Gator wheels can be ordered on Amazon so I'm willing to bet they can also be ordered directly from a local John Deere dealer. My question now becomes about the offset though, and what is the max size tire that can fit without rubbing on the Argo tub.
