    aquatorque tires in water

I put a set of aquatorques 25x12x9 on my 2011 650 frontier mounted tread back like the arrow says but it had no forward speed crossing water took 15 minutes to go 300 yds. I reversed themand it would go backwards in drive and circles in rev. I guess i have to go back to rawhidde 3 if I can find them. They worked good but were dryrotting on the sidewalls. Any suggestions

There are a few discussions of these tires on the forums. The general consensus is they are highly overrated by manufacture. They should be pretty good in liquidy mud at high RPM, but inferior to most any chevron style AATV style tire in water.
The best swimming tires are: Original rimless flotation tires (and ones with the same tread pattern made today or recently), Argo's current standard tire, Max IV's 26" tire, Mudd-Ox Vendetta tires. Likely in that order with some dispute between those Max IV tires and Vendettas, honestly their both SO good in the water (and mud, and everything) its hard to find fault in either design.
