2006 argo bigfoot trans

my bigfoot has about 350 hrs on it and iam startin to here a "new" whine from my transmission. took the belt off and gave the clutch a spin, sounds like the clutch bearing is goin kinda loudpremature bearing failure? seems kinda early for bearings to go since they run in oil. (yes there is oil in there) any comments would be great

does it sit in neutral and idle alot? my only explanation for a bad bearing up there. Is there any play in it?

i just bought the machine (50 hrs ago) so i cant really tell. i take it there is no oil up there when the machine is idling? dont think there is any play in it, think iall go for a while yet, see what hapens

I would be shocked to find out that it would be a bearing,I have never had one of those let go with thousands of hours on that style of trans,like mike bar says about idling,but honestly it would have to be a ton to do it in there is basically no load on the bearing when in neutral and free wheeling,it would be more possible if it in fact is bad that it was a defective bearing from the get go. just to clear things up, i took the clutch off and discovered the bushing on the inside sheave was toast:hence the loud noises. The belt was making all the unwanted noise because of the one sheave misaligned when under torq. now the waitin for parts......
