  • No problem Fred, I ordered new comet 780 clutches for the max4, these new style clutches I have been nothing but problems, the comet 780 is my favorite, it's easy to rebuild and tune. If anyone is interested I'll be selling my engine clutch which has about 20 hrs on it. The dam bolt that holds the trans clutch on loosened up and the clutch moved so the clutch is good. They were bought new together just don't like them

When are you planning on getting another engine. I would start off with a 23hp Vanguard, that way you can upgrade if you want, but the 23hp Vanguard is like night and day in hp and torque when compared to the 18hp Vanguard. A camshaft, rev kit, custom exhaust, and a little head work should put you close to 26-30hp without decking the block, shaving the heads and changing the pistons! 23hp is a great number for our machines, just ask anyone who has had a smaller engine like a 16 or 18hp and then upgraded to a 23hp! Kohler makes a great 23hp (CH23). They have hydraulic lifters in them also and is almost maintenance free, but the list is very slim and or pricey when considering performance upgrades for more hp or tq!

                        • Great videos guys!!!!!! Andy i remember the first time you brought the boys to play and they fell asleep on the rides. Now they are navigating like they have been doing this all at their lives. It is great to see the young ones keeping this sport moving forward. I should have a few videos done soon. Thanks to all for the sharing!!!!!!!

Nice video of a ride I missed. Needed a little Benny Hill theme song there in the middle.

                              • Great video Cory!!! I really enjoyed it. There were so many groups going all different ways on these rides. It was hard to get everyone at one time. Thanks for sharing!
