    Hi Philip,

Yes the Mudd-Ox will fit a Avenger. The Mudd-Ox tracks come with everything you need to install them. Wheel extensions, lug nuts, and track installation tool. This tool makes it easy for 1 person to install the tracks by themselfs quickly.

        • Tracks

I wonder how much stress would be put on the Mudd ox with tracks, I know trachs stress almost every machine . Even on the bobcats it is hard on the power train. The mudd ox will go anywhere with tracks on, I don;t think they make a 6x6 , 4x4, or 8x8 that would out do it.

          • Does it stay warm inside with the top on? I am thinking this would be a great way to hunt in cold weather in real hard to reach areas or long walks into back country in bad weather allowing you to stay out hunting longer and drive back in comfort..

            • As the 40 hp kohler is air cooled there is a channel on the left side of the tub that can be opened for heat. With the full or half cab and the duct open you should be able to hunt in your shirtsleeves in all the but the coldest conditions. You are also able to completely close it off for summer use. and the windshield is removable with just two clips so you can enjoy open machines when the sun is out.

                  • Yes it is aircooled. This is how the Mudd-Ox can heat the cabs without any additional add ons. One of the early prototypes got your butt pretty warm until they fiqured out how to block the air and insulate that area. this engine has some nice features like a easy oil fliter change system. You can go on Kohler site and read about it. The Mudd-Ox has a large hydraulic cooler and a guage to monitor hydraulic temps in the dash panels. Matt has really paid attention to the details with this machine and he should be proud of his accomplishment. He is also continuing to improve and update as systems and parts improve, there have already been changes since production started.

                    • thanks

Hey , I did not know that about the air ducts to the front cab, I was trying to come up with a way to heat the cab. Sounds great

                      • For those of us out here who are not satified unless we modify our rigs, what drives the speed of the machine the motor or the Hydraulic Motors? If we wanted more speed are higher output motors required or is a new pump and motors required. I like this design as I was hydraulicsman in the military.

                          • As for the speed increase I think you may (not sure if it will be an option or something you will have to do yourself later)be able to regear the machine which will require a new gear and different chain to it. Matt actually lowered the gearing so it could run anything on it tires , tracks or duallys and not get bogged down.

                              Hey everyone,
I just came in from a ride and it was 14 degrees, I had a tee shirt on ( I am fat to) and was having a blast. Mudd OX are GREAT I climbed a hill that I was scared to try with my 2007 sportsman 800. No spin just just nice and slow did not even spill my diet (remember the fat) Coke.
Well now for a night ride
