  • First test run this weekend

I took my machine out for it's first extensive test run since rebuild. It did great! The only problems I had was some leakage after swimming. I found the plastic headlight covers leaking water inside, but that's easy enough to fix. Today I put sealant between the locking collars/bearing & axle. The bearing flanges are sealed very well with rtv and I don't suspect a leak there.

One more little problem. I noticed my machine pulling a little harder on one side compared to the other. It's very noticeable during high speed cruise and quite annoying to have to be letting off constantly on the side that's pulling better. I will of course first make sure my tire pressures are all the same, but I think I remember this always being an issue in the past years. Any thoughts of why this could happen other than uneven tire pressures?

Sandcassle-could be lots of things that are causing drag on the "slow" side but in my experience its almost always tire size. Even with the same pressure it is amazing how much tire measurements can vary.hope this helps.

Have you tried adjusting the T20? It sounds like it may need it. That would fix your problem. Check out the http://www.6x6world.com/forums/gener...er-manual.html for how or search the forums. It's not too bad and you can do it with the trans in the Max.
