  • caulking for our amphibs

hi all I have been researching what would be the best product to seal my upper and lower tub to make it water tight and I found this stuff called lexel.
I have a couple of scrap pieces of plastic and am trying a few different products as a test and so far I think this is the best, check out the link

Lexel® - The superior alternative to silicone.

Looks like pretty good stuff, and it says it sticks to ABS plastic If it works like they say it does, it would be perfect for sealing up Attex body halves and other older ABS bodied machines.

If you want to try some good caulking that is flexible and easy to work with and sticks to just about anything then try np1 caulking. You can get it at a roofing supply or fastener company. This caulking comes in a variety of colors and after it dries it stay's flexible. As i mention before i have been in roofing 30 years and have used a lot of different types of caulking but np1 is by far the best.
