Hey yall. I have a few questions on wiring and electrical.

    1. Is it a good idea to run a relay for headlights? On an attex or surtrek?
What size bulbs really require this?

    2
Is it a good idea to use a fuse on leds. I am addig some lighing on the inside and outside.

3 where can I buy bulk wire spools and a small 10-12 block fuse block?
    Summit?

    Thanks

    Relay will save your switch.
    Fuse will save your wires.
Fuse blocks are on ebay. ATC/ATO 4 WAY FUSE BLOCK WITH CLEAR COVER SIDE BLADE | eBay

The relay really isn't needed. It all depends on the Amp draw. Your lights are (probably) 55Watts each. Your switch is (probably) good for 15 or 20 Amps. To turn the Watts into amps use this formula. Volts (12) times Amps = Watts(55X2=110) will give approx 9 amps draw.
Fuses are always a good idea. Size the fuse to the size wire (maximum) because it is there to protect the wire. In your case 16ga. wire with a 15a fuse is a good choice.

So here is what I got from this...

YES! it will be possibly brighter and safer at the switch

It is a good idea but not needed. resistor should do the trick. (kinda leaning away from LEDS after I learned how much is actually required to run them.
Any input from someone who has used them?

3 where can I buy bulk wire spools and a small 10-12 block fuse block?
        Summit?
Got the fuse block idea but where can I get bulk spools of wire in different sizes and colors?

^^ tractor supply has 100' lengths of all different gauge wires but only come in red and black. I am looking for multi color to make a nice looking wiring harness that can be easily traced... ANY ONE KNOW OF SOMEWHERE THAT CARRIES THIS?

Woooooo! Wait just one minute. Just out of curiosity do you have an attex or a surtrek. Surtreks are surcool if you ask me. I myself have a couple of attex, but have never driven a Surtrek or even seen one in person that was drivable. Sorry to disrupt your questions, but the Surtrek is an illusive machine that you don't see a lot of. Kind of like bigfoot, but real.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

            Yes and Yes.

I have two of each... Where are you located? if you are close I would gladly meet up and go for a ride somewhere. If your good I might let you drive the AMF.

            Steve.
