Well I gotta say that my biggest beef is the chains. I have been giving it a great deal of thought and might start to design a belt drive system, todays inner cog belts are used on 100+HP motorcycles, so I am sure they would handle the power and stress in an Argo, it would eliminate all the chain noise and hassle of lubing them as well. All that would be required is proper length belt and new sprockets, the only tough part would be the brake disc sprockets on non-NDI units, would have to figure out a way to mount the new belt sprocket onto the brake disc, but i'm sure it could be done. Possibly even leave the Idler chains but replace all the rest, that would still be a massive improvement.
Second complaint is horsepower, the 31 is nice but would love to see 40 or so for cruising on road and through the snow, a 3rd gear or "highway" gear would be awesome as well.
Barring belt drive a complete auto lube kit would be welcome, like they have on heavy equipment. A kit with all lines and fittings, wiring etc would be nice, then bearings should last a bit longer since they will get plenty of grease. The newer units have 2 grease nipples on the outside but still require the floors to come out for inner axle and idler area greasing. There is also oilers available but I think the greaser would be more useful, it is easy and pretty clean to spray the chains anyway.
