Well yes and no theres lots of terain for them but its finding somewhere to go that you have permission to do so. Lots of boys have them over here for the deere shooting! not much else willl touch them for that job

The rough rider is a pretty cool looking machine, and wow what a price. I would take any free machine, especially if its got a tranny in it. I see you already started a thread. Your on the right track coming here. I would grab it up and post some pics. Members are sure to help out where needed.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

I agree, Logger1. When I bought my Buffalo at Recreatives, the factory's official position was that they didn't install bilge pumps because they didn't want their customers to think that the vehicles leaked. Also, the drain plugs provided couldn't be removed without an 80% chance of their destruction. I installed two 500 gpm pumps and replaced the drain plugs with properly sized marine plugs. No regrets. I spend a lot of time in the water.sigpic

What's goin on?! In Rob, I own my own custom shop and came across this lovely forum for info! I just bought a 1970 Lockley Wrangler with a 295 Rockwell JLO engine in it. It runs, has carb issues as well as gasket issues haha. Couldn't pass it up for what I paid! May be selling it if it doesn't do trails well. I may end up making front suspension from a quad fit in the front of this fiberglass tub, as well as do a 440cc swap, and roll cage or bar for now. These things are kool! Not a lot of Info, but NewCastle PA isn't far from me so I may see if the Lockly Manufacturing Co has info. Anyone who has info or engine info please help!! I plan on. Rocking this odd atv/asv this spring the way it is unless I find parts hehe! LOOKING FOR A REVERSE TRANS FOR THIS!!! Thanks!

I purchased my 8 wheel argo app 1982 ??? without an engine. From this time the argo had been in storage in my garage and always something else was more important but now that i have retired from Parks Canada it is now time to rebuild and have some fun. I was told when i purchased the argo that it had a 440 kohler engine so i was thinking of taking a motor from a 1970 or 80's snowmachine with it's motor and clutch to see how the argo works as to make sure that the transmission is ok and if it appears that all work fine will then upgrade to a 16 to 20 hp four stroke using this clutch or am i beating a dead horse with this old clutch or is there a code to follow as to clutchs, rpms etc. I don't know as this is all new to me and i'm putting this out to any or all members that know something and wish to share some points with me. Thank you. As to where i live it is a place called Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.
