Hi there I'm new to this forum and was hoping for some help? I've recently purchased a early 70's Argo8x8 its all original except fortune engine which is a Honda gx390. I'm having problems fitting a drive belt does anybody have an idea which I should use? I've already used 125-25 from Richard Walsh but he never answers his phone. I'm chewing belts like its food for the Argo any help would be great thanks

Hi, might be getting into the 8x8 crowd very soon and this seems to be a very active community for riding. I am lucky enough to live in southern WV 1 mile from several Hatfield Mccoy trail heads and have been an avid 2 and 4 wheel rider. I am currently trying to find out if 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles are allowed on them. I know rzr's, and larger side by sides are allowed but cant find any info on 6 and 8 wheeled vehicles. Do you guys do any WV riding? We actually have better "outlaw" trails than Mccoy trails. I have been riding them my whole life. Check out the Wagon Wheel videos on youtube.

Hello, I am from Russia. We also appear this kind of transport. But it is not very common due to expensive.
We made atv 6x6 on photos from this forum.
Used car engine dewoo tico. gearbox Ford scorpio.
ATV is not finished. I think that I will find here the idea to implement.I use a translator on line. There may be errors.

Hello all, Name is Daniel but eveyrone calls me surfer dude.... I Live in Western New York twenty minutes outside of buffalo. Had Max ii's in our family since i was born. and now am 23 years old and have finally decided to buy my own a few months back..... Bought a late 90's (98 i was told) max ii with a 18Hp Vanguard and have replaced all bearings, bushings and also put a new carb on it as i bought it running rough and carb was the issue. Did some other small modifications to make more reliable but none the less it is a great machine. I joined the forum a while back and finally decided it was time to introduce myself and start getting to know everyone. Even though i do already know or have met a few people that live in my area that are on here. This winter season i plan on rebuilding my dads older max ii and converting to bigger bearings and axles etc. and possibly removing his 440 2 stroke thats in it and replacing with either a newer 2 stroke
or possibly use the extra 16 hp vanguard i have laying around... Either way i will be asking lots of questions but as i can tell by reading most of the posts here i should have no problems getting answrers... Thank you guys in advance and look forward to riding with you guys and getting to know you all.

My name is John and I Got me an 2012 HDI! I have loved these machines for many years growing up in the MidWest. I have never owned one of my own until now and it was the best worst decision of my life thus far!!! I just turned 26 and currently live in Seattle WA. Interestingly I will be moving to Up State New York this summer! i have read many articles on this site but but only used it for tech help thinking I would never get the chance to meet anyone, but now that I am moving back that way, I am excited to go to some of the events and make some new friends. I am working on improving my Beast in many different ways from performance to aesthetics and any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to getting to know any and all of you crazy amphibious ATV lovers!sigpic
Get out there and have some fun! ill see you there
