Hi Guys. I have read about mixing ABS chips with acetone to make a paste to repair cracks and holes, but was curious if anyone had ever tried using urethane casting resin (mixed with glass fibers) to repair major holes/voids in hulls. I have a great deal of experience with this stuff and thought that it might work... (?) as it does have a degree of flexibility to it.
Getting ready to help Cirrus6 with restoration of his Camel Centipede and was curious about this. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Also wanted to thank everybody for their tremendous hospitality at Pine Lake back in the Summer. Chuck (Cirrus6) & I were there and you guys were awesome.
