You have a very early Argo, the headlights are on the bottom half. You also have a serious chain sprocket alignment problem on the rear axles.I think this early of machine is also fiberglass. This is just off the top of my head, but members will add to this and you will know exactly what you have very soon. That's a 1967 Argo! So now we know of 4 beauties in existence. I can post some pictures of a restored one later.

The driven clutch on the transmission looks EXACTLY like the one on the Attex 450 Tomahawks and Tomahawk 'Lil Trucks.

Definitely not. Roller chain does not like to do that. Perhaps the rear sprocket tubes(I'm assuming it has those) are just on backwards. Anyhow, the chain should be in a fairly straight line.

They should noy be that way, chain should be straight as joemeg wrote. The rear axles looks to be in too far making it out of line, the sprockets are welded onto the axles.
Loosen the lock collars on the rear axles and slide them out some, you may have to adjust them all by measuring off the frame to the idler shaft sprockets as a guide.
Are the center chains on an angle also?

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
                  Joe Camel never does that.
