Hi everyone, I run a 2011 Avenger 700 8x8 and yesterday I pulled the carb cleaned it and reinstalled, it started and ran fine for about 5 minutes then quit. Attempted to restart and no starter action, dead.
So I checked the fuse box and the 20 amp main and the 10 amp accessory outlet fuses were blown.
I replaced them and attempted another start, the starter now activates in the "run" position as well as the "start" position, not a good situation.
Has anyone else had this situation happen to them?
The last similar problem was 45 years ago with an old pickup truck, the wires to that ignition switch were messed up after a attempted theft, but I never touched the wiring in this case, just replaced the carb....
