Hi All
I have been reading many posts about guides on here and this is just another idea that might work. Today while I waited for my plane to land (not mine but I maintain it) I grabbed the rubber chocks and went WOW they are heavy duty, solid rubber and are triangle, if one would take a rubber chock, they come in diff sizes. and cut them into 1 inch strips and bolted to a home made track you would have an awesome guide and the track would not be able to slide off the tire and there would be no tire wear due it being rubber and the shape needed is already there.
there are many places to by them form 4 inches long to 2 feet long and 4.5 inches high and above so they can be bought cheaply to fit any size tire people are running with tracks.
Just a thought and I hope it will help someone, I plan on building a set this summer when I am home
