Does anyone know how to separate an axle from the hub on an old Attex?

Are you talking the slip over part with the bolt through it? If so I usually drill a large hole in the center so I can press it out wit piece of shaft. Usually have to put in a press and heat the sleeve while under pressure. I clean inside with a flap wheel on a drill extension.
If it’s the “cone” style aluminum hub, there is a snap ring you access from the inner (body side) of the hub. It’s deep down there and you’ll need a good set of snap ring pliers.
