Swapping JLO 440 to 5 port Cuyuna Cylinders and 6 bolt heads in Attex Thunder Chief
I have a JLO 440 and have bought some 5 port Cuyuna 5 port cylinders with 6 bolt Heads that came with the pistons, intake and exhaust. Everything is standard bore like my JLO 440. Mine has the stock 30 mm Mikuni carb but the choke cable inlet on the top of carb is stripped out. What kind of 34 mm Mikuni carb should I buy that will work with my choke cable? Also It looks like I have the wiring harness for the dash gauges too. Would regular vintage gauges work if I can find some Cuyuna or something else?
