Welcome to the "6x6 Around the World" forum. It is here that we will share in somewhat of a social experiment designed to bring us all together even though we are hundreds of miles apart. We can each proudly represent our cities, states, countries, and continents.
After consulting with our resident 6x6 toy expert Don on the different models manufactured over the years, I have acquired a 6x6 model manufactured by Hasbro. Anyone wanting to participate will get the opportunity to have the model and a log book mailed to them. Once you receive the model you will be obligated to take pictures of it around your town, at your local landmarks, and with your six or eight wheeler(s). You will also need to sign a page in the log book with your user name, the date, and other information.
Once you have taken the pictures, you should upload them to the "6x6 around the world" folder in the gallery designed for the models journey. Then start a new thread in this forum talking about your time with the model and link to the pictures in the gallery. This way we can watch as the model travels from member to member. We can each learn a little more about the world one member at a time. It will be interesting to see just how many corners of the Earth our hobby touches while allowing everyone to show off their hometown.
If you are interested in participating you must first read and agree to the terms and conditions. They are designed to ensure that everyone has a fun and fair time with the model:
Then sign up in the appropriate thread in this forum with your location. Once everyone has signed up I will plan the route and the journey can begin. I will ship the model to the first person on the list. Then they will ship it to the next person, etc. Each person will pay the shipping to the following person on the list.
