Does anyone know if this style tire will swim at all?

What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.
I've heard they do not.
They do swim ok if you cut the knobs off in between the chevrons. Helps with steering too. Sorry about the sideways picture
Now that’s very interesting. Did they swim at all before you cut them off? What brand tires are they?

They did swim before I cut them off but very very slowly. It was a noticable difference once they were off. Mine are the duro mud and snow 22 11 8. Steering got way easier too.. less sideways traction. I I'd defidently recommend the mod if you get that style of tire
Thanks for your reply. Good idea you had there.

Cant take credit for it I saw it somewhere in the forums on here
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

This is the original thread I saw this idea on. They wont swim as well as actual argo tires but for the price they will work
