They do swim ok if you cut the knobs off in between the chevrons. Helps with steering too. Sorry about the sideways picture

They did swim before I cut them off but very very slowly. It was a noticable difference once they were off. Mine are the duro mud and snow 22 11 8. Steering got way easier too.. less sideways traction. I I'd defidently recommend the mod if you get that style of tire

Thanks Facemelter, been wanting someone to prove this theory. Always thought the knobbies would cavitate and lack there of......

This is the original thread I saw this idea on. They wont swim as well as actual argo tires but for the price they will work
