Still waiting on my new belt to arrive so I'm lacking a little torque, but today I was attempting to cross a ditch. Traction was good, but machine just didnt have the torque to make it out, that is until the exhaust hose blew loose from the muffler. Immediately after she loudly climbed right out. Just curious if most 6x6 owners keep the stock muffler or throw on an aftermarket muffler? I definitely noticed more power.
I agree with a restriction in the Exhaust, I just removed my external exhaust and installed a internal one and it is very quite, I wrapped it with header wrap and exited it through the rear. If you have a 18HP briggs then you can also remove the restrictors in the exhaust port with pliers for a little more power
