Mike, that was awesome. I can't imagine driving that thing. I know how hairy it can get offroad on the Max just going 20 mph and bumping around. I can only imagine twice that speed.

By the way, I love your reason for editing the post

Also I now have changed the board settings so that you can spell cockpit correctly. Sorry about that, I filtered a few words and didn't think of other uses.

Don, I enjoyed both of those. Are Joe H and John S on here? Also, which machines posted the best times there?

Here's a video of Hydromike at Copper ridge last year taking the McKay racer out for a ride.

Don, do you let just anybody drive that thing Really though, that was a great quality video and it looks like Mike was having a blast.

I usually try and hold on to some kind of standards, but you sometimes have to make concessions for family

Concessions? Hah! I had to fork over $500 and sign over my first born into a life of servitude replacing axle bearings on all of Don's machines. All that for a minute in the seat of a legend. Well worth it. I was taking it pretty gingerly. It's like getting inside a '62 Ferrari GTO. You're going to put it through its paces, but you're not really going to flog it. It commands respect. The video isn't really indicative of what the machine can do.

In all fairness, he's driven the 503 once or twice. I understand it's apples and oranges, but still...
