    I need sometime to think about this one. the gears are turning. (no pun intended) i don't have a banshee motor but i'll be looking.
    only thing i can see right up front is gearing it low enough to use all the gears may be a little hard on an in or output shaft.
    if you gear it higher you may not need 5 or 6 gears. kinda makes me think its not worth all the work to build and then learn how to drive.
    only to find out you only need 2 or 3 gears.

    There are some post for the Banshee gear ratios, so it should be possible to apply the range to emulate the cvt. Granted you may not use all the gears but the Banshee and Ninja motors don,t produce much torque and still require shifting. The point of having a shifter class is to offer a higher skill requirement other then higher speeds.
