Well i figured it out.. but man, do i wish it was something else... so far i saw 3 cracks , one bad one, on the top of the tank...not sure if i can fix it, was thinking of using "2 part epoxy glue" and fibre glass cloth. Scuff the tank around the cracks, coat the area in epoxy & soak the fibre glass in the epoxy and cover the cracks... anyone ever try thy this ?

Pl 5200 marine caulk. sand the area first then do a solvent wipe (zylol) let dry thoroughly. Apply caulk

Said screw it & ordered a new tank, figured don't want to fix it and then have a crack somewhere else. Tank is 23 years old and if it's cracking for no reason on the top then its probably getting brittle from age.. might as well get a new one and then it's one less thing I have to worry about...

to install or remove a tank you need to rmove the eat frame which has 6 or 7 bolts on each mid side of the argo.

Got the gas tank in today, can someone please explain to me why it wouldn't start and wasn't pumping gas up until I poured a little down the carb? I'm glad it worked I just would like to understand why. If I was to guess I would think maybe the fuel pump is not strong enough without the engine moving quickly?

you usually have to do that after not using it for a while or cleaning all the gas out of the lines, since its not electronice fuel pump it dont suck until the engine is turning so let it run on the prime you put in the carb and it will suck up eventually. since its a diaphram pump it relies on the crank case to blow and suck the fuel to the carb

Hi Kris. I have a 93 magnum as well and it leaks gas too. Mine leaks right at the edge of the hose clamp where the filler neck is attached to the tank. Vent tube is also broken at the filler neck. must be a common problem with the 93 Magnum

I have a 93 Magnum too. Vent hose broken at filler neck. Filler neck tube is cracked right above lower hose clamp. Had to move clamp to actually see the crack. Must be a common problem with 93 Magnums
