Thanks Don I'm Really having lots of fun just getting it together. the Idea is to get it ride ready for now untill I can find all of the right parts, the motor is swapped and I'm re-building the whole wire harness this weekend. I have also spent a few minutes scraping old paint off. Once I get it down to the bare plastic I'm going to seal and prime it with some high speed 3M then camouflage it. May even do it in a pink digital for my girl...lol I have been trying to find a way to get her more interested in playing in the dirt. You have an impressive list of Rides. Do you prefer the Attex or is it easier to come by?

    Welcome, greeningbrian and IH504.

vanmeterj1, Attex has always been my favorite, but there's lots of other great machines out there as well!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

    (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

IH504, for your parts, post a wanted ad here in the classified section with specific parts that you are looking for. You may find something from the members here or someone may be able to point you in the right direction of where to source the parts locally. Many of them will be standard parts that you can get at your local parts house while some that are more specific to the trail boss may have to be found here on the site from members.

Hello, Picked up a Sierra in March and have pretty much got it back to good. It was very sluggish from sitting, and cobbled together over the years. Everythings fairly good now except..............................the right side jumps the gears a bit, and it is quite a workout to keep the sticks pushed forward for any length of time. I loosened the bands on the transmission, and it helped. Should I keep going? Also, I just put in a nos keyswitch, but have no idea what the terminal sequence is. The wiring has been so changed around as things failed, it is quite confusing. Any idea's on this stuff?

    Thanks !!

Hi recree and Kris. Welcome to the site. recree, if you will start a new thread in the engine forum someone may be able to get you a wiring diagram. Just post the motor information. Or you can try browsing through the manuals and literature on the home page of the site.

Kris, I see you found another agilator thread here on the site already and if you have any specific parts you are looking for you can start a thread in the wanted section of the site. Those are cool looking ATVs but there aren't many of them around. However many of the parts you should be able to source locally. Good luck with your restoration. Get that thing done before the wife kicks you and it out.
