    Smile Amphicat- Body cracks

I just got my Amphicat home last night and got some time to look it over. The body as cracks in the ABS everywhere! The transmission is great along with all the drive-train. I'm looking for a way to repair this ABS. I need some scrap ABS plastic to turn to goop so I can goop the cracks back togeather. Any ideas?

Depending on how much you need there may be some plastic flanges on the inside that you could cut off and use for filler. I've also heard that Legos are ABS plastic, but I'm not sure on that one. Or do what I did and find someone with a junk body willing to cut you some chunks out of it

If I were you I wouuld just pick up this other Amphicat if it isn't too far and then build one very nice machine out of the two of them......the price is right.

I'll see. First I'll try that chips in acetone and if it doesn't work at least I'll have the experience

Has any tried colour glue sticks?

I am curious to how a colour glue stick would work

I had use the black colour hot melt that stuck aggressively to anything I applied it too .

Why do we waste tax money on bridges and roads when we can all just drive AATVs

That might not be a bad idea. It might work. The body is VERY rough with LOTS of cracks.

I need a schematic of the Borg Warner tranny for this Amphicat. Does anyone have one?

will plumbing ABS pipe work? That'd be cheap and easy to get for material......
