Anyone ever have experience with tracks on a Terra Tiger? Will the steering clutches hold up with the added weight of the tracks? I am considering tearing this machine down this coming summer and rebuilding everything and making a set of tracks from old sled tracks. Or is it a waste of time to make a set for this machine? I have tracks on my Max II but in order to try them on the tiger I need to mount the smaller tires, extend out the wheels, etc. Thought I would try this first to see if anyone has done it.
NO,The steering clutches will not hold up,to aggressive of tire will eat them up also. The axles would be the next weak link, you would want at least 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 diameter.Dont waste your time ,the Terra Tiger is to light of a machine.Eddie
