    Engine bushings for a 950

Does any body have a replacement for the rubber bushings that are used in the engine mounts on a Hustler. I know where to get new old stock but I am wanting to use polyurethane instead of rubber because rubber does stiffen up over time and the n.o.s. stuff out there is at least 20 years old now. I keep thinking about sending one of my old bushings off to Energy Suspension for a match but thought I would ask here first.

If you find something suitable let me know I need some as well.

I used some polyurethane sway bar bushings from Advanced Auto...just a generic kit they had on the shelf. This was for the Honda conversion...don't know if the dimensions will work, but the sway bar bushings will definitely handle the load.
    Hammers should have warning labels.

    Dennis Kirk Kimpex motor mounts

I was snooping around and found Kimpex rubber motor mounts on the Dennis Kirk website and the pictures look like what came off my Hustler. For $9.00 a set( you need four sets ) I may buy some and see how they work out. Cant be too exotic in the first place as old snowmobile bushings as these seem to be were on everything in the day.

Hey Bushman, thanks for the heads up on that. Also, check with Parts Unlimited, they might have it cheaper since they carry similar parts as Dennis Kirk. And by the way, that's a nice little Bulldog you have there. They're really neat dogs.
