Thread: Ballast resister for starting??????

  1. #11
So awhile ago I relocated my solenoid and switched to a four post one. It isnt grounded very good so I ran the solenoids ground jumper to a ground post on the motor that had another black wire going to it.
After reading tons of posts on here I've come to the conclusion that it isnt a ground post I used it's the magneto kill switch wire.!!!!. . I'll post if that's what it is when I get to our camp and check out the 'ground' wire .
    Thank you everyone for helping

Glad you have it sorted out. That little stud is the magneto ground to kill the engine.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
