New coils on, figured out the wiring,,took it for a short blast,,the Briggs doesn't have the power that I expected,,but it's Ok. I have to work for the next few days so we won't get to play with it until the weekend. I think right now the Governor is my biggest issue. I'm used to 2cyl -2stroke power,,
haven't resolved mine yet too hot weatherwise but I have realized something that might be a silver lining. I just went to start up my Honda 350x which I've owned almost 2 years now and never an issue. haven't riden it really since last fall but have started it occassionally every month or two. I just went to start it and now the carb needs a good cleaning even though I treated the fuel. Will run on choke but not without it. So back to the argo since I installed this motor and wired it as such, not a mechanic and tried to replicate the previous motor wiring, I never get the gummed up carb as it shuts down due to fuel starvation instead. Always runs and runs well as is so maybe I'll leave it as is.
