Did all scramblers NOT have a reverse? If you went electric power.... aka reversible motor..... would that work or would it create an issue with how tranny and / or other parts work?

Probably a later machine like 1200 or 1600 with Tecumseh . If it is a 4 seater it is later.sigpic

Yea the last ones did, but from what I heard the last ones also had issues with heat treatments and parts stripped out and where softer than the early ones. I'd check to make sure the reverse works.Comment

Id possibly go all electric anyway. The reverse mechanism would make it easy if went with one motor.Comment
