  • Pine Lake 50th year events

From what I understand the NEEDT events for next year will be part of Buds 50th celebration. Assuming there is 2 NEEDT races scheduled is there a date picked? Also is there anything special plans for the 6x6 only event? Is there any efforts for the 6x6 racers to get old Iron ready or new machines? does it make any sense to plan something ourselves. thinking in terms of of a 6x6 show. I can finish and bring the 340 Scrambler etc..

Its a thought marc i know bud wants to go all out for the big 50 races. We will have our annual event in june next year i won't be able to set the date with bud until around the end of november but the needt race should be the 3rd weekend in july like it has been for last few years. I will talk to bud monday and some more over the weekend at the race.

"Old Iron" There is nothing new except Dave and Brads springers.

Seriously though , I have plans but we will have to see what comes of them.

I too have been asked repeatedly for the dates of all the 2019 Ohio races by multiple relatives planning on attending.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Only thing left in the trailer is mrs fischers original trail scrambler. I think there is two hustlers and two scrambler racers still in the shop but i will talk with bud and see what he wants to do maybe pull out some old dune cycles too

Guess Amphiman will have to get a dueceandahalf running to bring all his museum pieces. I don't think they will fit on the Datsun. Lol

I'm thinking Matt and the Mudd-Ox crew should load several semis and bring some of the museum pieces for the event.

Due to a lack of interest the shifter build is on hold. (also lack of budget) I did find a a nice single carb air cooled twin 440 ccw in the basement that would make a nice "D" stock out of the Hustler. Ok its not a Kohler but Hustlers did run CCW engines in some machines. Any racers out there that want to protest let me know now. Second build will be an A spec machine . with a slightly modified 4 stroke single. looking at a budget build with a Honda clone. if there is a lack of interest in the A spec machine then i can always run the current A engine.
