    27" executioners om Max IV

I have searched, but found no answer. Will Kenda Executioners 27x12x12 fit on Max IV without tub modifications?

I doubt it I put 25" argo tires on my max iv and had 1/2 inch tub clearance.

Here is the size chart for that tire, they measure tall. The 27" tire comes in at 27.2". The 26" tire also measures tall at 26.77", pretty much a 27.

I run the 26x14x12 Vandettas on my Max IV and still have room between tires, you gotta watch your tub clearance too. They tend to sag unless a previous owner has addressed this.

I don't think they will fit. I have a set of 25x12x12 that I tried on my Max4, they fit well and had plenty of clearance, but did not swim a bit. Also the aggressive tread pattern had a tendency to just plow into the mud and stick the machine. It was also hard to turn the machine. I switched back to the 26x12x12 Terra style tires. I do think that the 26X14X12 Vendetta tires are probably the best choice out there, but they will cost you.

Thanks for the replies. I have a lead on the Vampire ASX. I have wondered about the total circumference thats posted for tires and what psi is set when measured.

If you contact Mike he could probably answer some questions, such as, you will need to run wheel extensions for clearance with them.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

The Vampire ASX should fit your Max4 just fine. Early models may have some issues with clearance on the bumpouts. Anything produced after the mid 1990s should not have a clearance issue. I have a set of ASXs that measure 26x13x12. They stand just short of 26" with 5 psi. They have ran on both my 1999 and 2002 Max4s without the need to modify the body or use spacers. They have decent clearance between tires and ride well, swim decent, and are very mean in the mud. It does take a lot of power to turn them however. I wouldn't recommend them for a machine with less than 20hp unless the gearing is changed.

To add to what Noel said, my Max IV was an older model that required me to remold the tub to make them fit. So even if you have an older Max IV, it is possible, it just might take a little more work.

UPDATE: The "lead" on the Vampire ASX tires were not a set of 6. I called Matt (super nice guy) and placed an order for the 26x16x12 Vendettas. Thanks all for the replies.
