Clutch to fit Kohler 1.1/8" crank shaft

Can you all tell me where I can get a clutch to fit an 1.1/8" crank ?
Are the Kohler engines in the new Max 1.1/8" output ?

Anyone ever run a Comment 44C ? It has 9 Ribs on the bell. Not a Bowl top like the stock unit. It says it works on engines up to 18 HP.
Just checking what's out there before I pull the trigger !

I was wondering about the Comet 44C myself. I found a good deal on one for a 1-1/8" shaft. Anyone know how it would work on a Vanguard 23hp?

From what I know the 44C Magnum is a less beefy derivative of the 94c Duster clutch, the internals between the two look almost identical. The biggest difference is the HP rating of course, but also the size of the clutches, the 44C uses a tiny 7/8" top width belt, and has a 7-1/2" diameter secondary. Versus the standard 1-3/16" belt and 9-1/4" secondary that the Comet 94c and 700 series have. So if you wanted to run a 44C you'd have to swap your secondary to the matching 40D.
