    Oil Pressure Light

I have been driving my 14 HDI thru the woods and snow since I picked it up yesterday. Very impressive vehicle! However, I have notice on a couple of occasions the low pressure light (red) come on. I take it back to the house and shut it off, check the oil and then let it sit. After a number of hours I go back and the same thing happens.

    What gives?

I wouldn't run the machine with the oil pressure light on. No oil pressure will fry your engine. The problem could be as simple as a bad sending unit. Is there a place on the engine to add a pressure gauge? I like gauges rather than lights.

That's a good idea. I'll check. I shut the engine off when the light comes on and let it set a while. If it keeps up, it's going back to the dealer.
