    Tri Cart

Just found another Tri Cart locally. Hopefully have it home in a couple weeks. Looks pretty good except for the axle is broken. Does anyone have dimensions of the axle?

I've been wanting one to park next to my Wedge

Parking them takes all the fun out of them.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

They're easier to maintain if they don't move

i will try to get you some measurements, but I don't know which keyways are stock and what I added at this point. Do you have both halves of yours?

Didn't get it home yet. He has 2 axle pieces that don't look quite like they fit together.

Sounds like the perfect start to a build

I don't currently have any axles w/o wheels attached so accurate overall length measurement might be a tough task right now. Do you need dimensions other than overall length?

Diameter would be a good start. Also, do you have a parts diagram drawing of the axle assembly?
I didn't study this one too much.
It is complete with good rear tires and the price is right. Picking it up the week after next. I'll have more questions once I get it home.

Good rear tires is excellent start. Pretty sure it's 1" shaft... threaded on both ends for fine thread nut. I'll see what I can access this weekend.

liflod... this should be pretty close. I measured axle from 2 different Tricarts, one complete with wheels, no body... the other assembled in body without wheels. Overall length probably within 1/8". Kind of tough to get some of these measurements without bare shaft on bench. Check out in gallery.
