Do we have a source for cup washers for the 1-1/4" axle?
We would need a washer with a 1.620"/42mm cup diameter for the stock MaxIV sprocket tube.
9-10$ to make them locally here in Michigan (2 sources), plus 1st time setup fee of 50$.

The trouble with retirement is.... I never get a day off !!!!
I know it's crude but I've quit machining mine and went to grade 8 fine thread nuts with threads drilled out. I grind tubes flat at worn holes and install on axle with through bolt than weld. I have a homemade boring tool to cut the radius if you want 12 I can make them. I may have some now if I can find them. The hard nuts have lasted real well.
Thanks Mark, upload some pics if you have some time.
.
Did you know you have a bush growing in your 6x6?

take 1" solid steel stock (broken attex axles) and gun drill a 3/8 hole in it with the lathe. then cut "slices" that are 5/16 thick. bolt them in place and weld them to the tube. they aren't cupped, but the gaps actually allow for better weld penetration.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Another good suggestion, I guess I should not have given away both of the lathes.
The 4140 I use on the ATTEX axles would make a good fix.
I'll head out to the 'hole' and put an axle on the drill press and drill one.
My metal chop saw will make straight enough cuts.
thanks racer

you need to find a new machine shop because thats way to expensive for such a small part that requires very little work to make
