Just posted pics of my "new" Max IV. It was made in the mid 90's, but I haven't yet contacted RI to find out the year. I broke the throttle cable right off the bat, but was able to use it a little before that. Then I attached a temporary lawn mower throttle cable and took the kids for several trips up and back on the hay fields. The engine kept quitting, and thanks to all the great threads here on 6x6world, I determined that I need to rebuid the carb and replace the fuel filter. I'm planning to tear it down, clean it up and adjust/repair as needed. I might also reupholster the seats, and even try to build a roll cage and windshield (again thanks to the forum contributors here.) I can't wait for spring to get here so I can go out in my 40 acres of wetlands and woodlands, and really see what kind of trouble I can get into.
