Yeah I knew it would be expensive but DANG that is HIGH! I have been wanting to build a new shop and for that kind of money, doing the work myself I could have a REALY REALY nice one! I hate it when common sense gets in the way of my fun, but that seems to happen more and more, the older I get.
Then you have the problem of where you're gonna ride it, Timber companies: absolutely not: I know of a case near here where a member of a hunting lease was charged over $800 for cutting 4 pine saplings while bushhogging his shooting lanes at his deerstand plus he lost his membership,club dues AND leasing privileges for the next year, National Forrest won't hardly even let an amphib be HAULED through them,and no private land owner is gonna let you near their land with a "floating buldozer"! So therein is another problem.
But all that still don't stop me from WANTING one... who knows...
