    plungers on t-20 transmission

I thought my transmission might have worn bands so I took it out and apart. Everything looks fine, but getting the plungers adjusted seems difficult for me.
Should both the top and bottom plunger be flush with the transmission housing when the U channel is parallel with the housing?

Page 10 of the T20 Rebuild Article tells you how to properly adjust them or you can see this post: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/trans....html#post2322

The plungers location relative to the transmission housing will depend on how much material is on the bands. That isnt something you need to worry about when you are adjusting them since your bands are fine. If the plungers begin to come out of the housing when properly adjusted then that will be a sign of wear on your bands or drums.
