Did you get it sorted? Sounds like the gov. is limited on pull, not revs.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

is there a way of adjusting that? i see that there are 2 adjusting screws on the govenor lever. 1 is an adjusting screw fixed speed position 2 optional? the other is an adjusting screw variable speed position 1 standard. 1 only have this adjusting screw, not the optional one. maybe i need the optional adjusting screw? i did post another carb issue in a new thread in the engines forum i believe Jim.

The lower(pos. 1) screw handles the upper end speed it is standard and needed, if you feel it is not turning 3600 rpm you could come out 1/8- 1/4 turn at a time til you hit 3600 ( a tach is recommended). Top screw is useless as it is for a fixed speed unit. If you have carb. problems for certain, fix that first. In the video it seemed when you manually forced the gov over it picked right up.
Previously you asked about the gov spring, it should be in 2nd lower hole.

Post a pic of the gov. side up as none of yours show it well and the glasses on video move to much.

8 is damn cold to be working outside!
