gates 6096 came stock, max1080 will work or he can cross the 6096 belt.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Time not always on my side but finally got some to address issues on my Superchief first off the antiquated fuel system from tank to carb new proper fuel line coupled with new shut off valve low pressure electric fuel pump carb rebuild.Next the 6096 belt that came stock has far to much freeplay center to center of crank to trans shaft is to close as well as the engine is not square to the trans it all appears to be stock and I see no adjustment area so it's out with the engine and motor board and fabricate a way to be able to adjust center to center easily as well as getting the crank and trans input shaft parallel has any body ran into this and how did you address it.NCT

Hey Rob, hope all is well.
If you haven’t pulled this apart yet, there are front rear adjustments on the uprights through the frame rails and sideward adjustments under the engine. If you have, you’ve found them.
    Good luck, have fun.

Jim what thru me off at first about the motor mount is all the six carriage head bolts were mounted nut inside under the motor so it did not appear adjustable and wouldn't be with the motor in place I have removed all cleaned and set them proper while I was in there made up a new wiring harness and pulling rear axles for bearing replacement,at the moment all on hold as just had a hernia repair so pretty much do what I can from a chair or stool lol.NCT
