    argo fire wall retainer clips

    has anyone discovered a better way way to fasten the fire wall? the fasteners on my 2012 hdi drive me mental,everytime i remove or install the firewall the dang inner clips fall off.im down to one out of 3 now.theres gotta be a better way.cheers.

    The new Aurora's no longer use clip, the fire wall is held on by five bolts, if you have a power impact wench it takes about a minute to take off. The clips you are referring to drove me crazy on my HDI. I would consider a bolt system similar to the Aurora.

    You could use industrial glue to hold the nuts on the inside of the plastic firewall and simply bolt the firewall on and off as necessary.

    How about replacing the clips with RIVNUTs?
    If you look on Youtube, there's plenty of idea's of how to install them without the special rivnut tool.
